Deputy Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Grigory Kuranov, Magadan Region Governor Sergei Nosov, Head of the Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs Igor Barinov, representatives of regional government bodies, law enforcement agencies, expert communities and public organisations, as well as members of the Presidential Council for Interethnic Relations took part in the event.
The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office underscored that the situation in the district regarding interethnic relations remains stable and under control, despite constant external information pressure and ongoing attempts by foreign entities to exploit ethno-national factors for their own purposes.
Meeting participants discussed current issues in interethnic relations and the situation in each district. Relevant decisions were adopted following the discussions.
As part of his working trip, Magomedsalam Magomedov held a working meeting with Magadan Region Governor Sergei Nosov to discuss the region’s socioeconomic development and interethnic relations.
