Mr Chernyshev informed the President about the social and economic situation in the region.
Other subjects of discussion included the situation in the agriculture sector, the state of progress with major investment projects in the region, and the prospects for cooperation between Orenburg Region and Kazakhstan in the gas sector and in building a transport corridor from Western Europe to Western China.
