Vladimir Putin and Enrico Letta will chair the eighth round of top-level Russian-Italian interstate consultations in expanded format, with members of both countries’ governments taking part.
The President of Russia will also hold talks with President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano. They plan to discuss a wide range of issues relating to bilateral cooperation, especially in trade, economic, investment and energy sectors, as well as topical international problems.
In addition, Vladimir Putin will briefly visit the Vatican, where it is expected that he will meet with Pope Francis.
