Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov informed the President that a special inter-departmental commission was working on proposals to introduce changes in the laws regulating the change of the Government in the country.
The President stressed that this work should be completed within two months.
Mikhail Zurabov, Minister of Health and Social Development, informed the President about the indexation of pensions since April of the current year.
Minister of Economic Development and Trade German Gref said that inflation in March was 0.5% lower than in February. He also said that industrial production growth in February was 0.5% compared with January, and 8.7% compared with February 2003.
President Putin again thanked all the citizens of Russia for their participation in the presidential election, stressing that the election results were a major credit of trust given to the President and the Government.
