In particular, the directors of Russian banks Vnesheconombank, Vneshtorgbank and Sberbank signed cooperation agreements with Chinese banks in the presence of President Vladimir Putin and President of the people’s Republic of China Hu Jintao.
Chairman of Gazprom Alexei Miller and President of the Chinese National Oil and Gas Corporation Cheng Geng signed an agreement on strategic cooperation in the oil and gas sector.
Director of the Federal Drugs Control Service Viktor Cherkesov and his Chinese counterpart signed an agreement on cooperation in the fight against drugs trafficking.
An agreement was also signed to open a Russian general consulate in Guangzhou and a Chinese general consulate in Yekaterinburg.
