Speaking at the opening ceremony held at the A.S. Spendiarov State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet, the Russian President said that Russia and Armenia are equally interested in deepening multilateral contacts and see their future in close cooperation with each other.
According to Vladimir Putin, Russia is the main investor and trade and economic partner for Armenia, and Russian investors play an important role in the development of key industries of the Armenian economy.
Mr Putin believes that Russian-Armenian cooperation has many resources, and proposed to look for new models of cooperation.
Mr Putin congratulated Armenian veterans on the 60th anniversary of Victory, adding that our peoples will celebrate this anniversary together, as they did in the past.
