Submission of documents required to contend for the 2005 Russian National Awards is now open

The Presidential Council for Science, Technology and Education and the Presidential Council for Culture and the Arts announce that they are now taking documents required to contend for the Russian National Awards in science and technology and in literature and the arts for 2005.

The ceremony awarding the State Prizes for 2004 took place in the Kremlin on June 12, 2005. The names of the prize-winners were announced at a special ceremony at the Kremlin a week before the award ceremony took place, in accordance with a Presidential Decree signed the day before. Three prizes were awarded for science and technology and three for literature and the arts.
