Vladimir Putin declared that Russia will do everything to support the peace process in the Middle East, and is going to work with all interested parties, including Palestine.
The President of Russia expressed hope that a historical settlement in the region will be facilitated by the steps Israel has taken towards delimitating its territories with Palestine.
The Russian head of the state also noted that the Russian Federation will support the United Nations resolution, based on Israel's proposal, in memory of Holocaust victims.
Ariel Sharon accepted Vladimir Putin's invitation to visit Russia.
