Talks between the Russian President and Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero took place in Moncloa Palace, the Spanish Prime Minister's residence.

After a one-on-one meeting, members of both delegations participated in Russian-Spanish talks.

Following the meeting they adopted a Joint Declaration on Combating Terrorism.

Vladimir Putin and Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero talked about the results of Russian-Spanish talks at a joint press conference.

Earlier today Vladimir Putin visited the Spanish parliament, examined the Senate Library and put flowers on the monument dedicated to those who have given their lives for Spain.
