The law empowers the border authorities to allow, if need be, Russian fishing vessels to repeatedly cross the Russian state border without going through border and customs formalities and other controls according to procedures set out by the Russian Government.
This measure will substantially reduce the economic costs of fishing activity in Russia’s interior marine waters, territorial waters, exclusive economic zone and (or) continental shelf.
