President Vladimir Putin received credentials from seven new extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassadors

With Ambassador of the United States of America Alexander Russell Vershbow.
With Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia Karin Jaani.
With Ambassador of the State of Bahrain Tawfeeq Ahmed Khalil al-Mansoor.
Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Gholam Reza Shafei presenting his credentials to President Putin.

The following ambassadors handed in their credentials to President Putin: Alexander Russell Vershbow, United States of America; Mohammad Saad Udah al-Sallal, State of Kuwait; Karin Jaani, Republic of Estonia; James Anthony Sharkey, Ireland; Sanjaagiin Bayar, Mongolia; Tawfeeq Ahmed Khalil al-Mansoor, State of Bahrain; and Gholam Reza Shafei, Islamic Republic of Iran.

In his speech the President touched upon the fight against terrorism and on the strengthening of global security, as well as Russia’s relations with each of the countries represented by their ambassadors at the ceremony.
