Mr Kalinin said that small business in Russia has more than doubled since 2000. OPORA Russia sees its main task over the coming period in developing intellectual and high-tech labour sectors that focus on global markets and export their goods and services, Mr Kalinin said.
Opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses to take part in procurement contracts for natural monopolies’ and state-owned companies’ needs were also discussed.
