The items on the agenda include adopting the Union State’s budget for 2016, approving the Foreign Policy Coordinated Action Programme for 2016–2017, reviewing the results of Russia and Belarus’ trade and economic cooperation over the last year, and a number of bilateral matters.
Mr Putin and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will have a separate meeting just before the Union State Supreme State Council meeting to exchange views on further steps to develop Russian-Belarusian relations and on current international issues.
