“It is symbolic that this holiday is celebrated on the day that Belarus was liberated from the Nazi aggressors. The bonds of brotherly friendship and comradery, strengthened by the hardships of war, remain a guarantee of the successful development of the Russian-Belarusian alliance to this day,” the Russian President stressed in his congratulatory message.
Mr Putin noted with satisfaction the positive dynamics in the cooperation between the two countries, the high level of interaction within the Union State, the Eurasian Economic Union, the CSTO and the CIS, and expressed confidence in further expansion of the entire scope of mutually beneficial Russian-Belarusian ties for the benefit of the Russian and Belarusian peoples.
