The President presented the cup to the winner of the Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix, British driver Lewis Hamilton, and congratulated Finland's Valtteri Bottas and Germany's Sebastian Vettel, who came in second and third, respectively.
Following the awards ceremony, the President spoke with representatives of the competition’s sponsor companies.
Russia received the right to host the Grand Prix on October 14, 2010. The agreement with Formula One Group provides for the holding of annual Russian Grand Prix auto races between the years 2014 and 2025.
