President of Russia Vladimir Putin: Mr Troshev, I would like to begin our meeting by talking with you.
Last time we met you said that you would focus on creating volunteer units which will fulfil various combat missions, including in the zone of the special military operation.
You fought in one of such units yourself for over a year. You know what it is like, how to do it, and what issues should be addressed in advance to ensure the best possible and the most successful fulfilment of combat missions.
In this connection, I would also like to discuss social matters with you. You maintain contacts with the comrades you fought together with, and you continue to fulfil combat missions now.
We have created the Defender of the Fatherland Foundation. I have said this many times, but I would like to say again that social guarantees must be the same for everyone who took part or is taking part in combat missions, regardless of their status. The status of those who fought for and defended the Fatherland does not matter to our country. This is why we will discuss this issue today as well.
Mr Yevkurov will provide an overview of these activities, and Mr Troshev will tell us the details.
