The message reads, in part:
“The centuries-long ties of fraternal friendship and neighbourliness, as well as the shared cultural and spiritual values that unite Russians and Belarusians, are the key to the successful development of the Union State. Today, despite the challenging international environment, we are consistently working towards mutually beneficial integration in all areas.
We are actively striving to establish common spaces in trade and the economy, culture and humanitarian affairs, defence, information, and migration, as well as to ensure equal rights for citizens and equal conditions for economic entities of our countries. Inter-parliamentary dialogue, productive cooperation between cities and regions, and partnership ties between research centres and universities are expanding.
Moscow and Minsk are effectively coordinating efforts in foreign policy, strengthening border security, and countering all forms and manifestations of the terrorist threat.
Further strengthening of the allied ties and multifaceted cooperation between Russia and Belarus is undoubtedly in the interests of our fraternal peoples and is crucial for ensuring stability and security in the Eurasian region.”
