“Greetings to the participants in the opening ceremony of the Ecosystem: Protected Territory National Environmental Youth Forum. Held in Kamchatka, it brings together environmental protection activists and volunteers, business leaders, young researchers, as well as students enrolled in relevant degree programmes from across the country.
The forum will serve as a platform for promoting meaningful dialogue on a wide range of environmental matters with a view to enabling its participants to share best practices, put forward projects related to the use of natural resources and environmental protection, raising awareness on environmental matters, introducing green technology and promoting tourism. Of course, I must place a special emphasis on the forum’s educational programme and the fact that its organisers have been paying special attention to promoting field and laboratory research initiatives, while also holding lectures and workshops.
I am certain that the forum will be constructive and yield tangible results, while you will benefit from its packed agenda by acquiring new knowledge and mastering new skills, as well as receiving the support and assistance you need to fulfil your ideas and initiatives.”
