Trip to Yekaterinburg

Working trip, 6 events

Vladimir Putin attended the opening of the 8th INNOPROM International Industrial Fair in Yekaterinburg and toured the exhibits. The President also held a working meeting with Acting Sverdlovsk Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev, who updated him on the socioeconomic situation in the region. Vladimir Putin spoke to the acting Governor about the complaints he had received from local residents during the latest Direct Line.

Vladimir Putin also visited the Datsyuk Arena, where he was shown a model of a sports and education cluster that will be created in one of Yekaterinburg’s new residential districts. He also met with former Prime Minister of Japan Yoshiro Mori, who has been appointed to head the Organising Committee for the 2020 Summer Olympics; and Russian WBA Super World cruiserweight champion Denis Lebedev.

Vladimir Putin visited the Datsyuk Arena sports complex and familiarised himself with a project for the creation of a sports and educational cluster to be created in a new neighbourhood in Yekaterinburg.

Meeting with Sverdlovsk Region Acting Governor Yevgeny Kuivashev

Mr Kuivashev briefed Vladimir Putin on the social and economic situation in Sverdlovsk Region. At the meeting, the President passed on to Mr Kuivashev the requests of local residents the President received during the Direct Line.
