Visit to Iran
In Tehran, the President took part in the third trilateral meeting of heads of state – guarantors of the Astana process to facilitate a Syrian settlement. The meeting was followed by a joint press conference.
Vladimir Putin also held separate bilateral talks with the presidents of Iran and Turkey. Concluding his visit, the President met with the Supreme Leader of Iran Ali Khamenei.
