The President made a three-day
working trip to the Primorye Territory.
On September 1, Knowledge Day, the President met with schoolchildren, winners of Olympiads and competitions in culture, art, science and sports, and took part, via videoconference, in a ceremony for signing of the Voluntary Commitments by the founding companies of the Russian Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment
and in the opening of social educational facilities in the Republic of Daghestan.
Vladimir Putin also met with Primorye Territory Governor Oleg Kozhemyako.
On the second day of the trip, the President visited the Far Eastern Maritime Training Centre at Admiral Nevelskoy
Maritime State University. Later, at Far Eastern Federal University, he was
shown an interactive presentation of investment projects being implemented in the Far Eastern Federal District, launched, via videoconference, the operation of several new companies – residents of the priority development area, and also held
a meeting on the socioeconomic development of the Far Eastern Federal District.
On September 3, the President took part in a plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum. In addition, Vladimir Putin met,
via video, with moderators of key EEF sessions, observed the signing of a package of documents and the ceremony for launching the Gazprom helium hub.
