The President arrived in Vladivostok
in the late hours of September 3.
On September 4, the President
visited the naval station of the Pacific Fleet Primorye Flotilla of multiple-type forces in Uliss Bay, and took a boat ride to a site in Promezhutochnaya
Bay where a new shipyard will have been built by 2031.
On the same day, Vladimir Putin had meetings
with Vice-President of the People’s Republic of China Han Zheng, Deputy Prime
Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin and Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar
Ibrahim.
Following that, the President attended
a presentation of the results of the development of the Far East and took part,
via videoconference, in a ceremony for opening new enterprises operated by residents of the priority development areas.
In addition, the President held a meeting on expanding energy and transport infrastructure in the Russian Far
East, and communicated with the moderators of key Eastern Economic Forum sessions.
A working meeting with Primorye Territory
Governor Oleg Kozhemyako was held at the end of the day.
On September 5, Vladimir Putin took part in a plenary session of the 9th Eastern Economic Forum.
