Trip to the Primorye Territory. EEF 2024
The President arrived in Vladivostok in the late hours of September 3.
On September 4, the President visited the naval station of the Pacific Fleet Primorye Flotilla of multiple-type forces in Uliss Bay, and took a boat ride to a site in Promezhutochnaya Bay where a new shipyard will have been built by 2031.
On the same day, Vladimir Putin had meetings with Vice-President of the People’s Republic of China Han Zheng, Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin and Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim.
Following that, the President attended a presentation of the results of the development of the Far East and took part, via videoconference, in a ceremony for opening new enterprises operated by residents of the priority development areas.
In addition, the President held a meeting on expanding energy and transport infrastructure in the Russian Far East, and communicated with the moderators of key Eastern Economic Forum sessions.
A working meeting with Primorye Territory Governor Oleg Kozhemyako was held at the end of the day.
On September 5, Vladimir Putin took part in a plenary session of the 9th Eastern Economic Forum.
