Speakers at the working group meeting included federal executive officials, President of OPORA Russia public organisation of small and medium-sized business Alexander Kalinin, General Director and Chairman of the Board of the Federal Corporation for Developing Small and Medium Business (SME Corporation) Alexander Braverman, and General Director of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects Andrei Nikitin.
The subjects of discussion included amendments to the laws on entrepreneurial activity. The meeting participants also looked at work on establishing a common register of small and medium-sized businesses.
The analysis made in preparation for the meeting revealed cases of failure to meet the deadlines set in the presidential instructions. Of the 21 items on the list, 5 have been completed and 16 are still incomplete.
A report for the President will be drawn up based on the meeting’s results, detailing the lack of discipline in carrying out the instructions and proposing disciplinary penalties for executive agencies that fail to carry out the presidential instructions.
