Developing and introducing modern professional standards is a crucial part of modernising Russia’s economy. The work to establish a national system of professional qualification standards is being carried out together with business and professional groups and associations.
Adoption of a national plan for developing professional standards was part of the May 2012 presidential executive orders, which aim to create a solid economic foundation for Russia’s social development.
Participants in the meeting will include Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets, presidential aides Andrei Belousov and Andrei Fursenko, Government Cabinet ministers Dmitry Livanov, Denis Manturov and Maxim Topilin, and heads of professional associations.
