Council for Interethnic Relations
The Council’s objective is to improve state policy in the field of interethnic relations. The Council is a Presidential consultative and advisory body, established to ensure cooperation between the federal state power bodies, bodies of state power in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, local authorities, public associations, and academic and other organisations in addressing issues related to implementation of the state policy of the Russian Federation. The Council’s main responsibilities are to review the conceptual framework, goals and targets of the state policy, to determine the methods, forms and stages of its implementation, to discuss the practical implementation of the state policy, to draft proposals for the President with regard to state policy priorities, to ensure cooperation between the federal and regional state bodies, local governments, NGOs, and academic and other organisations on issues of interethnic relations.
Council for Countering Corruption
The Council’s main tasks are: drafting proposals for the President on structuring and implementing state anti-corruption policy; coordinating efforts of the federal and regional executive authorities and local self-government bodies in carrying out state anti-corruption policy; overseeing implementation of the National Anti-Corruption Plan.
Council for Civil Society and Human Rights
Council for the Local Self-Government Development
The Presidential Council for the Local Self-Government Development is a consultative body established to enhance state policy on local self-government, interaction of federal, regional and local authorities.
Council for Science and Education
The Presidential Council for Science and Education is an advisory and coordinating body established to determine the strategic goals and objectives of the development of the scientific and technical sphere and education, to set the scientific and technological priorities of the Russian Federation, as well as to make decisions on the development and implementation by the Russian Federation Government of the most important innovative projects of national standing and federal scientific and technical programmes on issues requiring a separate decision of the President of the Russian Federation. The Council receives and organises expert examination of nominees for the Russian Federation State Prize for Science and Technology and President of the Russian Federation’s Prize for Young Scientists for Achievements in Science and Innovation, examines issues related to the award of these two prizes, and makes the relevant proposals to the President.
Council for Culture and Art
The Presidential Council for Culture and Art is a consultative body established to inform the President on the situation in culture and the arts, coordinate his contacts with cultural and artistic organisations and members of the culture and arts communities, and draft proposals on topical issues concerning state policy in culture and the arts. The Council receives and organises expert examination of nominees for the Russian Federation National Award for Literature and the Arts, reviews issues pertaining to conferring these National Awards, as well as the Russian Federation National Award for Outstanding Achievements in Humanitarian Activity, and submits corresponding proposals to the President of the Russian Federation.
Council for the Development of Physical Culture and Sport
The Presidential Council for the Development of Physical Culture and Sport is a consultative body established to coordinate efforts of the federal, regional and local self-government authorities, public organisations, physical culture and sports organisations and other groups in matters related to state policy in physical culture and sport, excellence in sports, and also preparation and organisation of international sport events and participation of Russian athletes in those events.

The Council for Coordination with Religious Organisations is a presidential consultative body that carries out preliminary examination and drafts proposals for the President on relations between the President and religious organisations and on protecting tolerance and mutual respect in issues of freedom of conscience and religion.

The Presidential Council for Strategic Development and National Projects is a Presidential advisory body that was established to facilitate cooperation between government bodies at the federal, regional and local levels, and public associations, scientific and other organisations in discussing issues pertaining to the strategic development of the Russian Federation and the implementation of national projects and programmes in the main areas of strategic development of the Russian Federation.
Council for the Implementation of State Policy in the Sphere of Protecting Family and Children
The Council is a presidential consultative body established to ensure cooperation of federal, regional and local government bodies, as well as public, academic and other organisations in evaluating issues related to the implementation of state policy for the protection of the family and children, and for the purpose of conducting public oversight of measures carried out during the Decade of Childhood. The main tasks of the council are to discuss the implementation of state policy for the protection of the family and children as well measures planned as part of the Decade of Childhood; to coordinate the activities of federal, regional and local government bodies, as well as public, academic and other organisations in evaluating issues related to the implementation of state policy for the protection of the family and children as well as measures planned as part of the Decade of Childhood; to conduct public oversight of measures carried out during the Decade of Childhood; and to draft proposals for the President on improving state policy for the protection of the family and children.

The Heraldic Council of the President of the Russian Federation is an advisory and consultative body established to implement a unified state policy with regard to heraldry.
Council for State Policy on Promoting the Russian Language and Languages of the Peoples of the Russian Federation
The Presidential Council of the Russian Federation for State Policy on Promoting the Russian Language and Languages of the Peoples of the Russian Federation is as an advisory and coordinating body which operates under the auspices of the President of the Russian Federation. Its original mission consists of preserving, developing, and supporting the Russian language, as well as minority languages of the Russian Federation, while also promoting and strengthening the global standing of the Russian language, ensuring the rights of citizens of the Russian Federation to use the Russian language as the country’s state language and minority languages of the Russian Federation. The council’s objectives include coordinating efforts by regional government bodies of the Russian Federation, local governments, civil society groups, cultural and arts institutions, research, educational and other entities, including non-profit organisations, involved in international humanitarian cooperation, on matters dealing with preserving, developing and supporting the Russian language and minority languages of the Russian Federation, promoting the Russian language around the world and strengthening its global role.
