Presidential Aide Igor Levitin, Co-Chair of the Organising Committee for Preparing and Holding the BRICS Sport Games (BRICS Games) International Multi-Sport Event in 2024 in Kazan, and Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko co-chaired a meeting of the organising committee in Moscow via videoconference.
Minister of Sport Oleg Matytsin reported on the implementation of measures linked with preparations for holding the BRICS Games. Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan – Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan Shamil Gafarov reported on the preparations for the BRICS Games underway in the republic.
Following the meeting, the Organising Committee’s co-chairs, Igor Levitin and Dmitry Chernyshenko, will sign a protocol with specific proposals and decisions, which will be sent to all the concerned agencies and organisations for subsequent work.
