The message reads, in part:
“I am pleased to welcome you to Moscow for this international symposium, which has brought together educators, medical professionals, representatives of authorities and NGOs.
You have come from many nations around the world to discuss the most important issues of maintaining and strengthening the health of children, and offering recommendations for using cutting-edge programmes and methods of education.
The forum’s slogan – For a Healthy, Non-Ageing Europe – is quite topical for our states. And exchanging experiences in implementing health-preserving educational technologies will certainly be useful, promoting harmonious development for children and helping them follow healthy lifestyles. After all, the success and future of Europe is dependent on what they are when grown up.”
The symposium is being held on October 13–14, 2010 under the patronage of the Federation Council (upper chamber of the Russian parliament) and the Council of Europe.
