Magomedsalam Magomedov visited Khanty-Mansiysk, where he and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Urals Federal District Igor Kholmanskikh co-chaired an annual seminar on the implementation of the National Policy Strategy until 2025 in the Urals Federal District.
Magomedsalam Magomedov pointed out that the priorities of the May 2018 Executive Order On National Goals and Strategic Objectives of the Russian Federation until 2024 include strengthening civil identity, raising harmonious and socially responsible individuals based on the spiritual and moral values of the peoples of Russia and their historical and ethnic cultural traditions.
The executive order aims to resolve a number of current problems that directly affect the quality of life in Russia, including ethnic relations and the ethnic and religious situation in the country, in particular in the Urals, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office said.
Magomedsalam Magomedov also spoke of measures to improve the state national policy at the federal level, the importance of coordinating regional and municipal activities in this sphere, as well as positive changes in ethnic relations in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra.
He highlighted the importance of integration and social adaptation of young migrants in the Urals Federal District, efforts against extremism, support for small ethnic groups in the North, Siberia and the Far East, and the introduction of a system within the bodies of state authority for monitoring ethnic and religious relations and preventing potential conflicts.
Recommendations and decisions have been made at the seminar to enhance the efficiency of the implementation of the National Policy Strategy in the Urals Federal District.
Magomedsalam Magomedov also held a working meeting with Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Urals Federal District Igor Kholmanskikh and Governor of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area Natalya Komarova and visited several local industrial facilities.
