The two leaders discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in the trade, economy and culture, focusing on cooperation in countering the spread of the coronavirus infection including possible shipments of the Russian-made vaccine to Palestine.
The Middle East settlement process was also discussed. Vladimir Putin reaffirmed Russia’s readiness to continue supporting a just and long-term solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, including by using the potential of the international intermediary quartet.
The two leaders exchanged New Year greetings.
They also agreed to maintain contacts at various levels.
