This issue was the subject of a meeting held during Mr Putin’s visit to Arkhangelsk while he was still Prime Minister. The President decided to hold this second meeting on the matter seeing that the work has still not been completed and differences remain to be settled between the contracting parties.
Taking part in the meeting were Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, Defence Minister Anatoly Serdyukov, Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov, First Deputy Chairman of the Government Military-Industrial Commission Yury Borisov, and President of United Shipbuilding Corporation Roman Trotsenko.
