The President was informed about the latest developments in artificial intelligence and the use of AI in improving the efficiency of the national economy, industry and the social sphere, as well as living standards in the country.
Using the example of Rusagro, the President was briefed about the technology to increase yields based on a complex analysis of a series of parameters, including the chemical composition of soil, and data acquired by drones and satellites. He was also shown a presentation of the joint project of KamAz and Eidos Robotics, the Eidos industrial robot for arc welding, as well as the Geometria geo-analytical platform that allows for conducting the primary processing of satellite images, detecting land objects and determining their properties to deal with applied tasks, including climate monitoring and environmental protection.
Vladimir Putin examined the stand of Third Opinion, a company that implements the data driven approach in supporting new standards in healthcare. Among their services are systems that make a diagnosis using the information from patients’ electronic medical records, as well as digital assistants.
The developers of FusionBrain, a joint project of Sber and the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (AIRI), told the President about the creation of efficient multitask and multimodal models that have a vast scope of application. The President was also shown images generated by artificial intelligence.
Another technology the President was told about was the Sber programme to detect deepfakes. It is designed to protect society and the state from information attacks and cyber crime and is more efficient than its foreign-made counterparts.
