Kazan is hosting the 27th World Summer Universiade on July 6 through 17. Vladimir Putin met with members of the Russian national team, congratulated the Universiade’s winners and medalists. The President also learned about the work of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency’s mobile medical units. These unique systems will be used to medically assist Russian athletes at the 22nd Winter Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014. Besides, President Putin met with representatives of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) executive committee.
