Trip to North Ossetia-Alania

Vladimir Putin visited Beslan.

The President honoured the memory of the victims of the 2004 terrorist attack in Beslan at the City of Angels memorial cemetery, where he laid flowers at the Tree of Sorrow and another monument paying tribute to the fighters of the Alpha and Vympel special forces units killed during the assault. The President visited the memorial housed in school No. 1 and met with representatives of the Mothers of Beslan Association of Victims of Terrorist Attacks, a North Ossetian regional public organisation.

Then Vladimir Putin toured the Altair Children’s Talent Development Centre and met with the regional head, Sergei Menyailo.
