The Vostochno-Messoyakha oilfield is being developed by Messoyakhaneftegaz, a joint venture between Gazprom Neft and Rosneft (50/50). Gazprom Neft is in charge of operational management. The field’s geological reserves include over 340 million tonnes of oil and gas condensate, and over 113 billion cubic metres of gas. The project has been implemented in complete isolation from transport and other infrastructure. Oil from the field will first enter the Zapolyarye-Purpe mainline system through a 98-kilometre long pressure pipeline.
