As a measure to improve legislation regulating counter-terrorist action, the federal law establishes possibility to suspend prohibition of activity by an organisation included in the federal list of local, foreign and international terrorist organisations as defined by Russian law.
Prohibition of activity by such an organisation may be suspended by a Russian court ruling based on a submission by the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation or their deputy showing factual data that indicates that the organisation in question has ceased to carry out activity that promotes, justifies or supports terrorism, or constitutes crimes of terrorist nature, since being included in the list of terrorist organisations.
The suspension may be overturned by a court ruling based on a submission by Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation or their deputy upon providing factual data that confirms that such an organisation resumed activity that promotes, justifies or supports terrorism, or constitutes crimes of terrorist nature.
