Trip to Amur Region

During the trip, the President toured the new housing for those affected by the 2013 floods and held a meeting at the Nizhne-Bureiskaya Hydroelectric Power Station on relief efforts. Following the meeting, Vladimir Putin inspected construction of the power station. The President also held a meeting about progress in building the Vostochny Space Launch Centre and issued an order via video linkup to launch a new generating unit at the Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydroelectric Station. At the conclusion of his trip, the President visited the Zhelundinsky nature and wildlife reserve of regional importance.
